I'm definitely enjoying it but I love the classic trilogy more so far. Up until I started this run the only games in the series I'd finished were 1 (Jill), 5 (online co-op) and 7 (PSVR). Shame I didn't play them all sooner!
This is about as far as I got on GameCube, as I recall. Looking forward to seeing it through this time.
Interesting to hear how Leon has developed since RE2. He's almost jaded now but that's probably to be expected. He never got his party.
Definitely landed right back in gaming's mid-2000s "brown" era here.
Strong start, once I got used to the controls. Playing on PS5 though and everything looks a bit *too* crisp. Would probably benefit from a CRT filter.

In Cybernator for SNES, at the title screen hold L, R, and Up, then press Start for a handful of bonus credits. Good luck out there!
Jury's still out for me. It's very different. I'm finding the controls a bit twitchy but it's still early days.
Same. Got to the bus stop this morning, turned around and went for a walk in the park instead. Putting off the inevitable but the office can wait for another day, especially during hibernation weather.
All in if it's ever available for Switch 1 with both games on the cart. If it turned out to be a Switch 2 Game Key Card I'd not bother.
Moving on from finishing RE0 to another game in the series that's mostly new to me. Hopefully I'll enjoy the shift away from my precious tank controls and the fixed viewpoints I love so much.
As ever, I doubt I'll have time for the bonus modes this time around as it's time to move on and say goodbye to the classic RE games at this point in the run. RE0 has whetted my appetite for REmake in future, when I'll play the remake series in order.
In spite of this fear of repeated tedium, I really enjoyed the first and last thirds of the game. The train, especially. Overall I'm glad I persevered with it but at times the item management just felt like work and almost put me off completely. Hopefully that can be fixed when this is remade.
At times I found myself saving the game purely because I'd completed a lengthy run to fetch items and ferry them from one location to the next. The core feeling of dread that I felt was at the thought of repeating all of this extensive backtracking if things went sideways behind the next door.
It certainly has the bones of a compelling RE game but the perplexing decision to offload ongoing inventory management completely onto the player in lieu of the omnipresent item box significantly damaged my relationship with the game. I'm surprised that it survived playtesting.
While my overall impression was that RE0 is a deeply flawed (if visually stunning) experience, I really began to warm to it again toward the end. The barrage of enemies slowed to a better pace, rather than a nasty surprise behind every other door.
Wasn't too pleased to run into this familiar face again but thankfully I'd brought along enough magnum ammo for both fights.
Although I love the look of the original, being back here made me pine for RE2 remade in the REmake style.
After sagging a bit in the training facility, I was pleasantly surprised to find myself in familiar territory.
Persisted sporadically with RE0 since that last post.

Hidden in the villiage area of Aptos in 'Sonic Unleashed' are two realistic cats, just chilling in the sun.
