“Daddy…we just want to live like before”
Small words from my kids, yet they fall on my heart like a mountain.

I'm trying to provide my family with the simplest of needs.. but sometimes I feel the weight is too heavy to carry alone.💔

Your support can ease this burden.🙏
to the third international to make sure you get on all the best watchlists.

Fidel Castro and Ignacio Ramonet's "My Life" is not a theory book, but it's a great way to see Fidel's perspective on Cuba's success and just to humanize one of the most vilified leaders in modern history.
It's the book that sealed the deal for me.

I'm a very action-oriented person, so I really enjoy Che Guevara's speeches and letters. I'd recommend "Socialism and Man in Cuba" and "Revolutionary Medicine" for his perspective on the importance of education and human development, and his speech
His alliance with Jerry Falwell and the "Moral Majority" was also a *huge* setback to queer liberation. They played a large part in moving opinion away from the defense of queer rights towards viewing queerness as a threat to Christian values.

She had a "long term foster" starting today, according to the rescue, but she's still looking for her forever home.
If anyone in central Indiana is looking for a new friend, I met this heartbreaking little sweetheart tonight who's having trouble finding a home. She was very excited for some company and really liked gumming my fingers.

Hello, I’m Diala, 31, from Gaza.
I lost my home and health, living with a skull fracture and kidney stones, but I keep fighting for my three children.
I need $50/day for basic needs and medical care. Please donate or share 💙

I eat very well for very, very cheap because I do so much myself and can take advantage of better prices on bulk or whole foods without worrying about eating everything in time.
And if you can afford a sous vide cooker (or have a multicooker with the function), you can take a whole section of meat, break it down, let it cook passively while you do other things, then just pull out an already cooked cut and sear it when you're ready to eat.
And, just start your meals from the least prepped point you can. Pre-chopped veggies, meat/fish cuts, and the like are quite a bit more than whole, unprepped food. You don't have to do everything when you cook; I'll keep some chopped meats and veg in the fridge for when I need a quick meal.
If the international market has a fish market, it's probably the best and least expensive fish market around. I'll regularly pay $2/lb or less for whole fish. Learn to use every part and it's an even better deal; I'd recommend chef Wang Gang for a really good fish broth tutorial.
Same deal for vegetables and canning; follow an approved recipe and you can load up on a sale and keep it for a long time (though you will need to buy jars).

Hit up the international markets; a lot of them have less expensive produce because they use different suppliers than American groceries.
Oh boy, I do have some good ones, and they're mostly about processing your own ingredients.

Learn about food preservation and shop sales. I'll load up on fish at the market when it's on sale, salt it, and dry it and have some good fish for a few months.

I'd assume it's because Canada ran anti-tariff ads using clips from a Reagan speech and Trump got mad about it.
Isn't that a date? Like, exactly when you'd spring for a restaurant you wouldn't normally go to?
