The Trump administration has stopped funding of PubMed, not considering a vital service.

Your doctor will not know the newest information that affects your health. This will cost lives.
Absolutely! I recently fed-back on on a researcher-driven interpretation of a healthcare challenge for a vulnerable group-
which was that patients needed an intervention to help them develop coping strategies and resilience (said no patient or practitioner ever in a qualitative interview)
How about approaching this from the other side- how do we incentivise employers to make the adjustments necessary to help people with disabilities into work. Rather than suggesting that if sick people just tried a bit harder they could not be sick, which is what this looks like
Congratulations and @trishgreenhalgh.bsky.social - for your super-useful relevant primary care research
Delighted to receive the RCGP health services research paper of the year award today! Massive thanks to the whole RBD2 team and particularly all those who worked on this paper
Challenges to quality in contemporary hybrid general practice. Research paper of the year noted the context of: infrastructure not fit for purpose, technostress, workforce pressures with GPs seeing the most complex patients. There are unintended effects. presented by @oohgpwales.bsky.social #RCGPAC

Kindness in Healthcare
It is the role of leaders to systematically challenge unkindness in healthcare - step up rather than walk-by

Ooh - my new paper on case study is out! What’s a case study, how do you do one, how do you spot a good one? Includes niche examples like the REF impact case study (though it’s mainly about research case studies).
Calling all researchers and educators📣 This new RMR by @trishgreenhalgh.bsky.social on how to conduct effective case studies, offers guidance for using them for learning & decision-making.

Essential reading for robust research!

Dear parents - Yes you can give your sick child paracetamol if they’re >3 months old. It’s an excellent painkiller. It brings down a high temperature. It’s one of the safest drugs available. You are right to want to soothe your child’s distress. Evidence supports your good parenting. Be confident.
I need to find that button- it’s like being stuck in gridlocked traffic when it can’t keep up …
