I am about to wrap up my seasonal cashier position, and now that I do not have to worry about losing my job for commenting, I would like to ask everyone to be kind to cahiers. Like a fool, I dropped my switch into a large amount of water (don't ask, it's embarrassing already.) It was on at the time and I saw the screen flicker black, so I am very confident I fried the MB.
I didn't back up my data on my Nintendo account, that I DO pay for! An amateur move!!!

The thing about being Goth and working in a Halloween store means that every single day someone is excitedly telling me that they love my costume. Many days I don't have the heart to tell them that it's in fact not a costume, it's just my face. haha.

AI "art" is free and devoid of real dedication of time. So when you use it for your products or cover art it makes you look cheap. As a consumer, I don't want to invest in cheap, it's not worth my hard earned dollars... Just saying.

I find it really frustrating that society demands that if you are sick you stay home, yet if you do this you are punished. Automatic grade loss of 5% for one of my classes because I didn’t want to share a cold that is kicking the shit out of me. Regardless, I think I did the right thing.

I know he’s right. He’s one of the most respected instructors in our program. My success is his success! But when he tells me that 1+1=2, my immediate thought is that there is no fucking way anything is that simple. What is the longest most convoluted way of coming to that same conclusion?

One of my current instructors favorite thing to say during class is "I am lazier than all of you!". Yes, you probably are, because I'm not lazy. A big contributor to why I'm chronically stressed out, I'm sure! His reasoning for this statement is that we should follow his example of how to work.

If you draw all the time like I do, I highly recommend this book Draw Stronger. I am about to turn 48 and I notice I am paying the price for years of sitting like a gremlin while I draw. This book has been a huge help. Take care of yourselves artists!

If Goth is so "in" then why can't i find black lipstick at a common drug store anymore? How come Sephora also isn't carrying one in store? If Goth is so "in" why do I have to buy it online, from another country, with shipping matching or exceeding the cost of the lipstick?
