The racists will stick with reFUKKK, we need to work on those who are not racists but are foolishly considering voting fash and make them feel very uncomfortable.

I said months ago that Badenoch was trashing a key convention regarding opposition in matters of security.

Today was sadly a continuation of it. Imagine declaring that it's UK criticism that has "strained relations with Israel", rather than Netanyahu's war crimes.

Desperate, immoral, and so cheap.

Badenoch is treading an unasavoury line at #PMQs. She supports the PM, but not really. She supports Ukraine, but not really. She supports our troops, but not really.

I know it's difficult for LoTO to get noticed in a crisis, but her unpopularity and lack of grip does not override national security.

Keit Starmer criticises Kemi Badenoch

"I was surprised and saddened that she spent more time attacking what we actually did to help the process, than even mentioning the humanitarian crisis in Gaza"

"Without setting out the number of people being killed, who are starving, who have been denied aid"

This is another reason why the Best Start Family Hubs / Best Start website will be so important when fully up & running: as a source of trusted, reliable information.

What is GB Energy?

The Chief Secretary to the PM explains it all in the latest installment of his 'Darren Explains' series.

For this one, they even let him out of the office!

It also looks like we have 4 more wind farms & 2 solar plants already through the process & sat with the government for final review and decisions.

A further wind farm & 2 more solar farms will soon pass to the government for a decision.

While 5 more solar farms are currently being examined.

Overall, it's the 27th approval of a major natonal infrastructure project since Labour came to power.

As you'd expect the BBC reporting on this had a local resident complaining, while also suggesting local 'officials' are unhappy quote a local councillor saying it's 'climate madness'. Yawn!

The UK's largest solar farm has today been approved by the government.

Tillbridge Solar Project in Lincolnshire has potential for up to 500MW of energy - equivalent for 300,000 homes.

I believe it's the 13th approval by this government for major solar and wind projects.

It's such a shame a similar warning wasn't made during the Russian sponsored brexshit campaign

MI5 head Sir David McCallum issued a stern warning Monday 13 October. New advice from the National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) said politicians and staff should be wary of foreign interference in democracy. We have two words for McCallum: Morgan McSweeney.
If MI5 are worried about threats to democracy, they should start with Morgan McSweeney
Never mind Russia, China, and Iran. We have a real enemy within that hijacked a general election and tried to kill the free press: McSweeney.

If the rich had to pay the same 47% tax as you have to pay when you earn over £125,140 (45% Income + 2% NI).

It would bring in £250bn a year.

Even taxing the rich at the same rate as everyone else brings in a fortune.

We need to do the same to reFUKKK plc
davidpeacock40.bsky.social
But there isn't a GE tomorrow so its somewhat irrelevant. Plenty of time to defeat the fash, dont let these irrelevant polls grind you down.

It's another small step on that road so we need to take this as a win, albeit a small one

It certainly feels like the Labour government is about to transition to the next phase of the Brexit debate by publicly acknowledging the damage it's done to the economy.

Starmer is due to say it. Streeting already has.

This is not the start of reversing Brexit, but placing blame where it's due.

Maybe they should sew some kind of patch on the ‘illegals’ clothes or put a tattoo on them somewhere so they can identify ‘real’ Americans.
How long until this is made real?
davidpeacock40.bsky.social
I suspect the country will have a massive choice at the next GE either continue, and accelerate, the death spiral with reFUKKK plc or work towards rejoining the EU, and all the associated beneifits, with Labour.

Yesterday the Bus Services (No2) Bill completed its process through Parliament.

It now goes to the King for Royal Assent, when it becomes law.

As well as overturning the ban on public ownership of bus companies, it gives local authorities more power over who runs buses, fares, routes & timetables.
