Not really the main point for these witnesses statements but this is unbelievably low grade stuff to be passing on.

Tugendhat did not in fact get a cabinet job and Jeremy Hunt endorsed Rishi Sunak. Did the Chinese realise how crap all this intelligence was?
So, the Green Party isn't as keen on embracing technology for the benefit of citizens after all. I could never vote for digital Luddites keen on keeping UK in the slow lane. I hope their efforts to thwart the government plans, which would keep us in step with Europe, fail.
The government ought to be saying that #Brexit weakened UK's controls of its borders. This negates the main reason that was used by the Leave campaign and highlights where the blame lies: with Farage.

All of this is being put out to placate the right wing press...

In the meantime, it's causing fear & confusion. As I understand it:

● this only applies to some people on skilled visas
● it's not "A level English" it's something called SELT
● much the same requirement exists elsewhere in EU
This seems to be yet another example of dire government communication. It just can't seem to put a foot right.
The reference to A Level English seems to be yet another example of dire communication by the government. I doubt whether many students taking other A Level subjects would pass A Level English, simply because you have to take the course first.
The Whitehall comms machine is so bad at fundamentals that one has to assume the problem is sheer incompetence. Digital ID cards, for instance, should be "sold" for their benefits for citizens, citing examples such as Denmark or Estonia.
This. The problem is #Brexit.
All those years of attacking ‘the Brexit deal’ rather than Brexit itself have helped only Farage. It was always Brexit.

Unless and until some kind of compelling legal and moral argument is presented as to why this is a legitimate use of deadly force, this is just…mass murder.
Trump's ICE: bringing terror to the local supermarket.
ICE GOONS terrorizing US citizens shopping at Walgreens.
Most already have ID cards, so it's a small step to having the convenience of digital ones. You can bet most will seize the opportunity to have one. This is the smartphone age, after all.

Private equity takeover of US hospitals led to rise in patient deaths.

Cuts to staffing/investment; high debt, profiteering; worse patient outcomes.

More deaths in nursing homes, increased post-operative complications

Why is UK Govt handing the NHS to PE? Why no investigation of the impact of PE?

A great pity we aren't in the EU with them. If we were, all Brits would have to be offered at least one digital ID wallet by next year.
ID cards are compulsory in 15 EU member states. By 2026, all EU citizens will have to be offered at least one digital ID wallet allowing them to store, share and sign important digital documents. In other words, the EU is in the digital fast lane. I want UK to catch up.
They are putting digital technology to use for the benefit of their citizens. What's the issue?
Fair enough. Have you dispensed with an NHS app, too? And debit cards?

The Portland Frog army has now infiltrated Tulsa, OK and they’ve made an unlikely alliance with the T-Rex infantry and Sharks on Hoverboards mercenary forces.

This is truly terrifying.
