She’s DESPERATE to be released from this Sisyphean task.

(Except she’s not and she farking loves it.)
Fuck me I love Claudia’s approach to telling them off at the end of a round table.

It’s like she is cursΓ¨d to have to keep on picking these traitors from poor groups of suckers that end up at the castle, and the only way for the curse to be broken is for her witless faithfuls to find the traitors.
It’s rare an episode of Traitors goes by that I don’t squeal, with delight, β€œthis is soooo sillllyyyyy!”

Within minutes, tonight.
I haven’t been a student for twenty years, but sure. Do that.

Recording studios are vital to UK music but face rising costs. Like venues, they boost local spending – yet get none of the Retail, Hospitality & Leisure support. We urge Chancellor Rachel Reeves to give studios their own RHL rates classification.
Studio Business Rates
There are c. 500 recording studios in the UK. Like Grassroots Music Venues, recording studios are really struggling. Like venues, they require huge investment in a physical premises and are facing inc...

This is an opportunity to recreate something from the ground up? Get Manchester Pride back to its roots, genuinely community led.
Is this an opportunity to get Manchester Pride back to its roots - truly community led, pride is a protest, not a music festival charging Β£80 a head?
Very sad news that Manchester Pride is going into liquidation - sad for the small artists and workers who will absolutely lose out on money, because the liquidators will pay bigger fish first, I expect.

And what happens to the city-wide pride event? (There are plenty of small local ones!)
Put some graphite lubricant in my front door lock and, fuck me, it's changed my life.

(In a positive way.)

The adventure continues… 🌟
4 shows. 47 performances. From Fringe Festivals to rural tours, libraries to livestreams β€” we’re taking flight this year!
Just plugged my desktop USB keyboard into a USB-to-lightning adapter, to plug into my iPhone, so I could more easily enter the shitty McDonald's Monopoly codes into the app because the code scanner is fucking next-to-useless.

Having done a fair bit of driving recently, I have gathered some tokens.
I’m not sure what I just made but they definitely weren’t crumpets.

Quite nice, considering.

(But fucking awful crumpets. The worst I’ve ever made!)
Calling it β€œcrowdfunding” is useful as people have kind of forgotten that’s how the indie music industry (/theatre/arts/etc) works, has always worked.

There’s a threshold at which events can make sense financially. Buying a ticket helps reach this threshold. Buying early helps even more!

(4/4)
If the crowdfund doesn’t reach its target, the options are: cancel the event, or go ahead with the event knowing that someone is taking a hit financially. (See above for who that is most likely hurting the most.)

(3/4)
A venue / promoter / band are working on the notion - the bet - they can sell enough tickets to make it financially make sense.

Someone is taking the risk - rarely the venue, often the promoter, nearly always the artist.

(2/4)
Every ticketed gig you’ve ever been to is effectively a crowdfunded gig, it’s not a new concept - but it is useful to have it reframed that way.

I don’t think I paid attention when I watched Fringe first time round.

I’m sure I’d have remembered Anna Torv doing her best Leonard Nimoy impression, three quarters of the way through season 3.
I am only now realising how I have underestimated leeks as an ingredient.
There’s been a USS Mandela on Star Trek somewhere, right?

We all remember that, don’t we?
Please fuck yes Instagram you’ve got the algo just right for me when it’s videos about pottery, recipes for nice food and cats.

Please remember this. 10/10. No notes.
Oh gahd there’s a RPDRUK to watch today too!

Thursdays are busy for telly right now.
Do I want to turn on 2FA for the account that I use to switch on the wireless plug socket that the heater is plugged into in my bedroom at my mum’s house?

No, I think it’s OK for now.
Rare sighting of a sousaphonus albobrassus vulgaris, out in the wild!
I made the very serious mistake of Sitting Down Before I Was Finished Doing The Task.

Bugger.
