He’s going to steal the trophy again isn’t he.

At UNB, professors and students were surveilled for Palestine solidarity because, per campus security, the university is the President’s “house.”

“If I tell my kids my kids you can’t do this, I don’t need to write it down… He’s the President and he can set the rules.”
Carr’s whole shtick is just saying shocking things in a posh British accent while wearing a suit. As people get used to it he has to keep getting more shocking. It wears thin.

10/12/25🤬Brass Band from Portland Oregon detained🇺🇸
Might come down partly to who we’ve gotten results against? FBOW, Forge and Cavs still feel like the teams to beat if you want to compete for titles in this league.

In 2023 we were competitive with them. This year they’ve largely been eating our lunch.
Injuries have exposed a poor roster build. Too many CB’s, CM’s, CAM’s. Not enough wide players or depth at striker.

Add to that the fact we lost fan favourites to league rivals, and you have a problem.

Plus club released one of our most creative players and then simply didn’t replace him.
The exciting, attacking football has been there in fits and starts, but not often enough. We are often simply boring or frustrating to watch.
Agree with Danny. Expectations key. Pat said he had 3 year plan to win a title, and we would play exciting, attacking football. In 2023, seemed possible: tied for 2nd on points, winning record against Forge.

This year less so: we likely scrape into 4th, and have been battered by Cavs and Forge.
Who would have thought that only having a single injury prone number 9 might come back to haunt us?
Maybe we should have signed more than one natural striker. Or at least more than one that our coach is actually willing to play.
It’s cute that you guys think there will be a history of this. They are going to fucking erase it. Fight them now, not in posterity.
Because the Democrats s are doing such a great job of opposing it…
What makes it weirder is it’s a British paper.
In Canada there would be no shortage of people defending bad landlords.

In America, they elected a president who has literally made a career out of bad business dealings and screwing over the little guy.
It says something positive about Irish public life that Jim Gavin had to withdraw from the Presidential race because he was a bad landlord who had stiffed a former tenant. #Aras25
Try to explain this headline to someone from the year 2010 as if it makes any sense at all.
Headline from the Telegraph which reads:

“Unmasked: inflatable frog tormenting ICE is non-binary ‘Antifa terrorist’.

Costumed figure, who called for death if Trump officials, has become symbol of Left-wing resistance.”
Or whatever unnamed underlings Zimmer had working for him at that point.
Hendsbee would oppose it in his district but literally DNGAF if it happens in anyone else’s. Sum total of his political philosophy.

NEW: Federal judge dismisses Drake's defamation case against Kendrick Lamar storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
The issue in this case is whether "Not Like Us" can reasonably be understood to convey as a factual matter that Drake is a pedophile or that he has engaged in sexual relations with minors. In light of the overall context in which the statements in the Recording were made, the Court holds that it cannot.
