They didn't put the original plates up as an option, no surprise. Medicine Hat news did a pole today. Out of 540 voters, 374(69%)said No (one of whom was me) to the design and slogan. 121 (22%) said Yes and 45 votes didn't care.

Photo from March of 2015 of Rowan, the medium long hair grey, brown and white with black stripes torby cat. I was playing with Rowan with a feather attached to a string and a wand. She managed to capture the feather and also pull the wand away from me, then ran away. I caught up to her by one of the cat trees. She is sitting by the cat tree base with the feather and string firmly grasped in her mouth. Looking very pleased with herself.

They brought in High-definition reflective licence plates in 2021 so Police could scan the plate for registration validation, so I wouldn't be surprised if they added RFID chips to the mix. It seems this government is just throwing stuff out there to see what sticks.

💯As if the UCP has money in the budget for such a stupid thing. We don't need new licence plates. This is a screenshot of the proposals. They look 51st stateish to me. Slogan should read "Home of the Stupid"
