Most liquor laws are.

This is a remarkably bad idea but not surprising that it's Alberta's government. Policy requires the kind of nuance AI lacks because AI draws upon frequency of information rather than credibility of information. Boy this will be interesting.

This is wealth redistribution right?

I hear it has some kick ass blurbs too

In some recent clips of him he was visibly slurring. Pretty sure there are some mini strokes going on in there.

I just learned that celebrated Canadian military historian Tim Cook passed away yesterday. I didn't know him well but he was always generous and supportive of my mediocre forays into military history. I'm gutted. My condolences to his family. What a terrible loss.

Good grief! You don't even need to hear Reagan's words. He was the president who signed the original Free Trade Agreement with Canada. His actions say it all.

Good point. It reminds me of the change in the seventies when they used to be called "anti-manpower mines" :-)

I want "master of midday snooze" on my report card!

I keep seeing this:

In case you were wondering if the CDC has been politicized this is at the top of their web pages.

Time to see how Catholic Vance really is

Same to you. So much to be thankful for as a Canadian especially this year as I gaze across Lake Erie ...

Indeed. My "app" is Penny

Will Chicago cops be able to arrest them for peeing in public?

Anti-vaping rhetoric based on unfounded arguments about its harm leads to smokers choosing to continue to smoke. Great example of Illich's specific counter productivity in which something intended to have one effect does the opposite. www.bmj.com/content/391/...
Vaping misperceptions must be challenged

(I know :-) )

As a Canadian living near the border I can say this might--but only might--happen when he's gone. There's a lot of emotional scar tissue to heal and trust to repair.

I hope those aren't generals because generals are not supposed to be fat anymore.

Is that the Swan?

Yeah that's a big no thank you

I'm sure the orange menace will accept this decision.
