This might sound silly, but maybe it will help. If there’s something I don’t want to engage with or let bother me, I always picture flipping a switch on it. Like turning off a light and that allows my brain to let it go. When I’m ready, I can always flip the switch back on. It‘s incredibly handy!

Today would have been George Floyd’s 52nd birthday.

His murder while people looked on is forever burned in my mind.

The murder of a Black man by a white cop over allegations of a fake $20 is the sentence given to Black Americans. No jury, no judge, murder.

He cried out for his mom and died.
