Ugh. Yeah, the political lists are notoriously terrible.

On my end, there is the occasional sponsored email. But under no circumstances do I rent, sell, or otherwise share the Court Theory email list. It stays entirely with me.

Our aim is zero spammy emails. 😂

From the Daily Theory (which Allen will email to you, and signing up hasn't seemed to result in me getting a bunch of spammy emails)
Again, the cash: Tennis fans are left agog after calculating the dollar-per-your rate that Alexander Zverev made in his first-round loss at the Six Kings Slam on Wednesday. One problem: the thumping he got from Taylor Fritz didn't even last an hour. So, calculated by the next largest unit, Zverev earned $25, 423.73 per minute. It's a bigger payday than he's made in any of his major finals. It's one-third of what he's made on tour this year. It's...well, you get the idea. And that's exactly why players are never going to turn down the opportunity to play this exhibition (and that is exactly what Saudi Arabia is counting on as it attempts to rehabilitate its image through tennis).

Sure, the Six Kings Slam is a bit troublesome.

But who am I to miss out on Taylor Fritz owning AZ again? 😅

It’s almost like they didn’t have access to the real people. 🎾

It remains a missed opportunity that Fila doesn’t put Leo Borg in their classics line. 🤦🏻‍♂️🎾

Well, this Moutet-Tomic lucha libre of a match is over. 🫠
courttheory.bsky.social
It’s truly hilarious that for as much as Tomic comes forward, his overhead is so incredibly bad.

The audio in Stockholm is really disorienting.

It’s like Miss Othmar but with horror/suspense/thriller vibes.
courttheory.bsky.social
Aaaaand now the match is no longer fun. 🫤

The Ymers getting screwed even in Stockholm…

“Okay, we’ll give you the wild cards, but somebody’s going home.” 🎾

And even on the cusp of being seeded 🤯

Man, this battle between Coco Gauff and Jessie Pegula 😅
courttheory.bsky.social
It’s true. It went into overdrive during the Federer, Nadal, Murray, Djokovic years. And it continues now.

It’s such a lazy strategy.

We saw the momentum shift coming at the end of the first set.

But Gauff is helping Pegula get there quicker with these double faults taking hold.
