I realized that he gets around this by dumping these into a blog while the political work is a site feature, but that also means there's a political candidate that does that and ends up floating as news without any editorial oversight. I think he got more self conscious.

Sorry about that, people on the other place tend to post a panel from Dairy From a Wimpy Kid where a school comic becomes an avenue for the cartoonist to put all of his grievances on display rather than do the bits he was hired for any time a funny account would post about serious stuff.

But he only reserves these for the political strips and not for his life strips where the joke is that his hot wife has a big dumpy and his kids are precocious. "The flotilla people had it coming" gets the unblockable gif, not "My wife's big ass is getting in the way of my soccer!!"

There's a guy who was hired to do political cartoons for the web portal that Portugal uses and I wonder if someone told him they were the most easily blocked part of the site bc now just makes them as gifs and puts the panel for them under several redundancies so adblock won't pick it up right away.

On my university / lab we had this guy whose specialty was quantum teleportation and one of his favourite things was to go to places that would have like quantum flowers or quantum reiki treatment and he would happily ask how was it "quantum". The place would either close or remove that word from it
