If being assaulted/molested means you are from then on forever "A rape victim" then that just reinforces the age-old concept of "Damaged goods." People are allowed to be victims and also be defined by things beyond what has been done to them.

(CW: Discussion of SA) I wrote and then deleted several skeets trying to compile my complex feelings but for now I'll just say - I think it's a really unhealthy mindset to treat characters AND real life people who are victims of assault as being defined by their assault.

NGL there's something amazing about people losing their minds over the Anya Nendo because "how dare you merchandise something like that" after JP twitter spent ages making yuri of the characters from Takopi's Original Sin.
