And Let's Stop The Lie! We do not need more production via large scale agrobusiness and industrial farming to stop hunger. It's the opposite. We need a power shift in food systems to avoid people going hungry. The Lie, drives policy choices that lead to more pesticides, fossil fuels, more hunger.

The Committee also invited international movement ViaCampesina, bringing together millions of peasants, etc, to talk about peasant rights and food security. Given the false political narrative around 'food security', let's revive the term 'Food Sovereignty' !

The EU massively exported this Mancozeb, a fungicide, even though it has been banned for the use in the EU since 2020. Mancozeb is an endocrine disruptor and toxic to reproduction, it so negatively impacts the thyroid, fertility, pregnant women and babies.
