yeah that makes sense. it does feel like democrats don’t do themselves any favors by being so prone to self criticism as well. they’re the only party that has any accountability and entertain talking points like “WHAT IF THEY DIE IN OFFICE?” it’s a valid point, but not one republicans care about

the nice thing about ranked choice is that it has encouraged a coalition and alliance with landers. and he seemed to be most people’s next choice who didn’t want cuomo bc of his scandals. so i think, at least, that’s led him to distance himself from DSA a bit
