Day 14: Metal General

Created as a Copy of the legendary Neo Arcadian Knight who went missing after flying off with the flagship air fortress, the Halberd. This copy was built to match the original in every way but with added armor and weapons.

I've unfortunately had similar experiences in a bunch of servers. Once I found a group that was actually chill, I stuck there for a while and met some nice people. Sucks you had to deal with that bullshit tho. It is nice to know it's not just me who sees all this so thanks ^^

I know I'm ranting atp but it hurts to see all this and it sucks knowing this is far from the only fandom with this issue. It's been a fairly common theme this year and I just wish it wasn't. I guess to close I'll say, please think about others. Consideration goes a long way in helping us all.

It's also why I've started to get a lot picky about the kinds of people I hang around. I don't really wanna be around people who will just shrug their shoulders and say "eh this is fine" or god forbid tell people they're "overreacting". This mentality is not good to normalize, even a little.

Lots of misogyny, bigotry, queerphobia still exists because this behavior was not properly purged and with how things are going, I don't know if it ever will be, at least in the wider western fandom. It's depressing to see some decent people thrown under the bus like this time and time again.

Lots of really bad people and people who enable that behavior have been present for years and never took proper accountability which is why it's continued, especially on Twitter. Even if it's not overt or in some cases even deemed "justified", that rethoric being pushed at all is super dangerous.

Guess I should add some more thoughts even if not many will see them.

I think the big reason why the western 2hu fandom is as bad as it is is bc of the origins from the depths of 2000's 4chan and that mentality and some of those people stuck around so it still permeates in many corners to this day.

Another thing I should add, the biggest reason why most pirate games (from what I can tell anyway) is for easy accessibility in playing games. Because so many games aren't available on modern platforms, emulating is the only way they can be played and that goes a long way in its importance.
