Doing the RSL post-mortem. Remember that $11m Andres Gomez windfall from 14 months ago? Well, most of it is spent:

– Gonçalves ($3.3m)
– Olatunji ($2.3m)
– Marczuk ($1.7m)
– Piol ($500k)
– Brook ($500k)
– Cruz (loan w/ undisclosed fee & purchase option)

None of those guys are good MLS starters.

I think one of the misguided things the NBA thinks is that big names will never be implicated in this, but honestly NBA guys are kind of dumb and a lot of them love to make a quick buck that this is going to just keep on happening.

Real Salt Lake was an absolutely unenjoyable and unwatchable team from the first minute of the season. Cannot remember a time I liked this team less over 15 years. I don’t like many of the guys that much and I don’t really like the culture.
