For homework purposes I'm watching a genuinely beloved film I have maybe never seen all the way through in one sitting, though I am of course very familiar with it, having seen all of it in pieces over the least few decades. I see what you all rightfully love about it but I find it mostly annoying.

So I have had a look at this! Appears to be from an interpositive (I think). Looks like what you'd get from a very high quality print scan of a relatively clean source. Not great but a huge improvement over what we have. Hopefully a nice UK/US release in the future, maybe HDR 4K if we're lucky.
