These ads are genuinely on every channel that broadcasts sports except maybe NESN?

I see them during every football and baseball game I watch, and I hear them on the radio broadcasts, too. I haven't gotten any on Prime Video/Spotify/YouTube yet but I'm sure they're inundating every male airspace

If by some miracle a babysitter falls into your laps, pull the trigger. They play an impossibly tight 90 minutes and they sound incredible. DIIV is a good opener, too (though probably not as good as Model/Actriz, who opened here)

It's almost as if, when you start Voodoo or The Messiah, you are picking up with a friend you haven't seen in many years. He has been there, living his life, making his art, but you've been apart, and you have to orient yourself to how things have, or haven't, changed in the intervening years.

I played through the discography today and was struck by the way "Playa Playa" and "Ain't That Easy" open their respective albums — in both cases, rather than making some hurrah of reintroducing him, they kind of drop in media res into D'Angelo's workshop, like you can feel it all taking shape around you, and eventually the murk resolves into grooves, and he's just there, doing the thing. Almost like the albums conjure him, or his essence precedes his presence.

I think it's probably good for everyone if the primary is competitive, because it should be instructive about how viable it is to unseat Collins

I just would prefer a robust primary that didn't feature the oldest Dem gov in the nation

But these actual run times are still very long

Run times of stranger things episodes, leaked in July of 2025. The shortest listed was 1 hour 55 minutes. The longest was 3 hours flat. It's unclear if these were fake the whole time of if these were director's cut lengths or pre-editing lengths.
