some encouraging things, some flaws still there, lots of time to keep growing and if you wanna hype it I think there's enough meat to do so. if you wanna be cautious, that's valid too.

yeah EPA is definitely better. Frequency of successful plays to me demonstrates similar process though imo.

Through 6 games, Darnold's success-rate on pure dropbacks (shotgun, no play-action or screens) is roughly what it was last year (images 1, 2).

What's comprising his efficiency boost is partially fewer pure dropbacks, but also even better play-action (3 & 4): a jump of ~3 any/a.
