I live in a state that is world-renowned for not being Maine and a city that was profiled in Condé Nast’s “300 Cities that somehow exist but aren’t New York” issue, so my support matters very little but I support Mamdani because he’s the Dem nominee and I will support whoever Maine Dems nominate

I think there's little reason as of yet to assume that Platner is the actual popular favorite in the race. Maybe he will be. But it kind of does a disservice to the other relevant qualities of a guy like Zohran Mamdani to assume that they can stand up any bearded rando in any race and win in a walk.

Hi, middle school teacher here. Intimately familiar with the dumb insensitive things actual children do. Can’t recall anyone expressing a desire to gas The Jews. This might be because of all the woke indoctrination I do, not sure.

Based on the video shared by Univision (they've paired it with overhead from ABC), today's attack might be the most chemical gas we've seen feds launch into a neighborhood so far. The clouds are enormous/that's a lot of canisters. Completely engulfing cars and homes.

Despite what some, including at DHS, are claiming, this video isn’t from a year ago in Chicago. It was Friday in Hoffman Estates, in my district, a street I’ve walked myself. It appears to show a child being violently detained by ICE. It’s real, and I’m demanding accountability.
