Idiots like Bari Weiss, with their crusade for a ‘truth’ that they have no competence to assess for lack of any actual philosophical culture, quite clearly suffer from an over-inflated sense of importance; a flaw that they share with the billionaire funders they market fascist domination for.

Second, they believe that the mere fact that they are rebelling against accepted norms is evidence of their acuity, when the bar is actually as low as suffering from an oppositional disorder.

In this disregard for centuries of accumulated knowledge and wisdom, they are bad at conservatism.

This brand of contrarians commit a double intellectual sin.

First, they believe themselves to be rebellious, ‘punk’ underdogs, when all they do is cater to the wealthiest dipshits’ interests. They are underdogs only in the sense that they are guard dogs under their masters’ boot.

On ne peut plus expliquer le fait politique sans mettre la psychologie en son centre; la pandémie a été le catalyseur de trop nombreux troubles mentaux et de la personnalité.

Et une société ne saurait fonctionner sur la base de troubles paranoïaques ou de la personnalité antisociale.

Ultimately, the death of US manufacturing is about this attitude. It's easy to say "buy american or stfu" because virtue signaling is free. But it's hard to actually sustain a business because many Americans simply don't want to pay what it costs to produce things ethically in this country

Someone on Twitter replies to me: "meh. buy american or stfu."

Two hours later, in a separate thread, the write: "$30 for a single button-up is ridiculous unless it is decent quality silk."
