Labour MPs who voted against welfare cuts this summer have warned that plans to change disability benefit assessments could trigger another mass rebellion

Others called for a vote to be delayed until a review into the assessments is complete

"it's sunny, people are happy, good times!" "it's rainy and grey, someone will die, sadface" just fucking get on with it

Go Set A Watchman is the original "are we the bad guys?" except nobody had the bollocks to publish it for like 60 years

Go Set A Watchman absolutely wipes the floor with To Kill A Mockingbird. On some measures it's my favourite book. To Kill A Mockingbird is a children's book.

Wow: Helen Hayes, committee chair, says: "All of us, as constituency MPs, see children not being offered places at schools of their choice, because of their additional needs." That's a massive criticism of the schools system.

Secondly, I would like to take this quote and make it the background of every official in DESNZ. Trying to be too clever-clever never works. Trying to exclude all edge cases makes bad policy.

There’s not much to say about the solid wall insulation failures that hasn’t already been said. A diabolical policy failure that wasted money and harmed people.

But one thing I will add is: I think it highlights the need for more state delivery capacity on warm homes, not just regulation
