In 2020, Detroit had 20,000 abandoned Land Bank houses. Because Detroiters believed in Proposal N, more than 8,000 of those homes are now gone and hope is rising in their place.
Blighted blocks are now neighborhoods of opportunity.

168 more families are now proud homeowners through the Make It Home program.

This program uses the City’s “right of refusal” to stop tax foreclosures and keep homes in the hands of the people who live there.
