Two weeks ago, I owned no Ubiquiti hardware at all.

Am I doing it right...?

Oh, and this is only at one location I manage, I still have two more, one of which is fully stocked up as well with the other being ordered here this week :P

My wallet HURTS!
no, i didnt screen shot it
i got the google ai to glitch out over the weekend. it was giving me the debug information describing "hey, so the user asked for this, and im interpreting it as this, pulling in this information, and this is how im going to format it and give it back to the user"
I was there, in person, near the front row.

Yeah, this really is one of the most important video game historical panels of all time!

So many unique nuggets of gaming history come back to the decisions these people made, and they share never before heard details about them!
Y'all, I know two hours is a big time commitment, but this panel I arranged and hosted last month is one of the most important things I've ever done for video game history. The launch of the NES is a crazier story than most people realize, and my guests were extremely generous with their memories.
Hear about the NES US launch 40 years ago from the people that made it happen: Gail Tilden, Bruce Lowry and Lance Barr with @frankcifaldi.bsky.social from the @gamehistoryorg.bsky.social moderating! Panel recording at youtu.be/f2WDfsiLiRA

"a bit spicy"...

Nice pun, even if unintentional ;)
But I'm in Seattle :P

I need to see them BOTH lose for different reason! :D
CS in schools in general needs to focus a hell of a lot less on rote memorization of already solved algorithms that are neatly wrapped up into libraries we all commonly use, and instead focus like you state on language fundamentals as well as more generalized problem solving skills.
If I was in town at the moment, I'd stop by and say "hi" just to see this awesomeness in person LMFAO
im just here for cute kittie furbaby times!
damn, i wish i was living such a sweet life!
Didnt realize you were also a fan of Stargate! :D
Wait, did I just hear something about VIOLENCE KILLER !?!?
I'm absolutely sick and tired of techies that belittle anything that is "easy" in tech. There is absolutely NO reason why we can't have a nice, simple, clean F/OSS desktop environment too.
Every time I bring up the user friendliness of Android being Linux and its end-user friendliness to the point that an overwhelming number of people don't even realize its Linux, I just get "WELL, THAT'S DIFFERENT, ITS NOT REALLY THE SAME"

Yeah, it isn't, because its EASY. So it gets belittled.
Microsoft is supposedly adding "sudo" to cmd at some point to elevate to admin.
ERROR 404: DNS NOT FOUND

just gotta hybrid it up a bit ;)

These restaurants are very much the local community just as equally as any business worker or resident.

So yeah, the layoffs hurt everyone, even non Amazon workers.

FUCK GREED
The staff at all these places know me for being a regular, all coming up and chatting with me a ton because I'm the only customer.

And they're all concerned with the sudden lack of... Anyone at all showing up.

Normally these places are busy as hell with tech workers.
The restaurant staff are all having the same conversation at each location: places are empty when they're normally overly busy.

Going from 10+ tables full of multiple people per table, to a single customer during the second busiest hour of the day !?!?

This really REALLY sucks.
These Amazon layoffs are absolutely fucking heartbreaking.

I didn't work for Amazon, but I live very close to their Seattle campus.

Every restaurant I frequent and am known as a local at this week... Literally the only customer during the Noon lunch rush is just me...
Currently, no. 56k requires a digital modem. These current ones are analog modems, so just 33.6k (unless there is 56k digital on the other end)

But the stuff in the mail will hopefully do 56k speeds! :)

Apparently modems are complicated LOL
