I called Separatist Quebecors traitors in 1995. I unequivocally call Albertan Separatist traitors in 2025.

You are a disgrace to Canada

Long election lines. Long vaccine booking waits. I think everything being more complicated and taking longer is a deliberate tactic.
The voting process is so much slower now too

I swear to fucking God if I find out a store is doing this to me, I will burn down the entire fucking chain. I will become wrath incarnate. Fair warning.
You go into a store to buy a 2-litre bottle of milk at the supermarket and pay $3. But the person in front of you in line paid $3.50. And the person behind you paid $2.

Surveillance pricing is the practice of monitoring consumer data to charge you the most they think you will be willing to pay.

It's wild that the president posted a video of him dumping actual shit all over Americans who disagree with him and it's just treated as the way things are now

You know it’s bad when the Dept of Labor says immigration raids are “threatening the stability of domestic food production and prices for US consumers.”

i don't necessarily think music was better in the early-to-mid '90s, because it wasn't really, but music *media* was way more interesting and less processed. Lots of radio stations with program directors and DJs making playlist decisions, with actual taste and opinions at play.

No Kings couldn't have gone better - massive turnout, no violence, and it drove Trump so crazy his response was "Kings are good and I poop on everyone." Best of all was the effect on the millions of participants and everyone watching.

No Kings was a huge success. Just look at Trump's response.
Turnout was enormous. There was no violence. And the wannabe king is triggered.

Like, I know a good third of the reddit wedding stories are creative writing or trolling, but there are enough that have the ring of truth that make me wonder what the hell goes through people's minds.
Yeah at my wedding my wife and I's parents started talking about immigration and I shut that shit down immediately. If my dad or her dad had tried this I would have kicked his ass out

I’ve jumped through all the hoops required to book a COVID shot (a month from now). At no point did I have to demonstrate that I had ‘reserved’ a shot back in stage 1 of the process. What was the point of that exercise, exactly??
The Alberta gov has created so many small barriers to vaccine enrollment beyond the price that it's appalling. A huge amount of seniors are simply not going to bother or will pay a drug store more for the vaccine. The goal is to make more sick people in Alberta

Very soon ICE will claim its first life while operating on the street. The regime will spin it as justified. Soon after that, ICE will carry out murders regularly.
1. ICE has sharply increased its spending on weapons in 2025, according to an analysis of federal gov't data by Popular Information.

Records reveal ICE has increased spending on “small arms" — a category that includes guns, armor, chemical weapons, and explosives — by 700% compared to 2024 levels

Well, it’s official — the Old Gray Lady is dead.

I miss your journalistic integrity, @nytimes.com, but I will not mourn an intentional self-destruction. You chose to strip away your credibility and you will never get it back.
Those with sharp eyes might detect a subtle difference in NYT play last month of an event in one city, w 100,000+ attendees, versus play this morning of some 2500+ events w many millions of attendees, in all 50 states.

See if you can spot it! /s

Then you can find today's story on p A23
