Back in 2020 I pushed myself to learn to draw so I could do my own tokens for my first streamed TTRPG campaign. I still don't think I'm a *great* illustrator, but looking at some of those pieces again (compared to what I've done in the last year), I've come a long way.

A simple pen and ink drawing of my OC, Cirrus Mucha, drawn in 2020. She's a detective with a billowing white afro, wearing a shirt and tie with a trenchcoat.

A crop of a digitally inked illustration of Cirrus, done in 2024. Being in colour and rendered digitally understandably makes the piece more polished, but there's more ambition to the pose, styling of hair and outfit.

jokes aside remaking the playlist has honestly been a pretty fun experience. I started my old one in 2020 and seeing the way my taste has evolved has been rad. a lot of the songs were recs from loved ones, especially early on

being a big j-rock fan means I'm all but forced to use youtube music since a lot of the songs I like aren't on tidal or qobuz (the usual suggested alternatives.)

also iirc tidal has a cap on how many songs you can like. 9999?? baby numbers. my old spotify liked had more than double that

today I finally went about starting to rebuild my playlists since migrating from spotify
Evidently I have more endurance than the service I'm using now because it conked out on me about 300 songs in. wwww. sorry for putting all the tunes I like on one playlist it will only get worse from here
