I see it both ways. I totally get and respect what you’re saying. I also think someone who has been on the other side, seen the light, and crossed over, makes an ideal populist candidate. And that’s something the left desperately needs.

I don’t have tattoos. My mom always told us that if we got one, we couldn’t be buried in the same cemetery as our family. Also, I’m a pussy.

But my understanding is lots of people with regrettable tattoos don’t remove them bc it’s a reminder of how they’ve evolved. Not saying that’s the case here.

Exactly. The research laid out on who this guy truly is (long before he got into politics) shows he’s anything but a Nazi. Why didn’t he get the tattoo covered up? I don’t know. It’s not good. Maybe he didn’t want to draw attention to ever having it? Either way, I trust Josh implicitly.

It’s so stupid. I could not be more aligned politically w/ Josh & I think I can pass the progressive purity test w/ flying colors.

Stop with the gang tackles. Josh (Nolasox) has been part of this community since peak Phish Twitter. He’s thoughtful, empathetic, and a great human. He’s a staunch progressive living in Maine. If Josh supports Platner, we should want to understand why—not reflexively block him.

As a white, I’m not sure I can vote for someone black.

As a straight, I’m worried about voting for a gay.

As a Christian, I’m concerned about voting for a Jew.

None of this would be openly tolerated.

Yet we entertain “Jew worries about voting for Muslim” like it’s anything but blatant bigotry.

It’s 10/27/91 Day!

This was the first show after Bill Graham’s death. The S2 pre-drums segment is one of my all-time favorite segments that doesn’t involve a Playin, Dark Star, Help>Slip>Frank, or Scarlet Fire.

Carlos Santana and Gary Duncan sat in on Iko>Mona, and it’s so worth your time. #GD
