Trump doesn’t like the photo lol

Trump: Time Magazine wrote a relatively good story about me, but the picture may be the Worst of All Time. They "disappeared" my hair, and then had something floating on top of my head that looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one.
Really weird! I never liked taking pictures from underneath angles, but this is a super bad picture, and deserves to be called out. What are they doing, and why?

Whenever I put cutlery back into the drawer after the dishwasher, I always move the spoons around and bring the old ones to the top. It's nothing to do with hygiene, I just don't want the spoons to get upset about not making tea.

Both elections he won, Trump played the well-meaning but ultimately naive progressives like a fiddle. First the Bernie supporters, then those who were happy to throw the baby out with the bathwater on Gaza. He couldn't have won without their help.

Sadly, my suspicion that Harris was in fact quite anti-Netanyahu, but boxed in by Biden and conservative Dems was later borne out (link).

A fair number of my swing-state friends ultimately sat out the election to protest what they saw as Harris' pro-Netanyahu stance. So damn predictable.

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?
