In 2024, the advocacy efforts of a Girl Scout troop led to the conservation of 537 acres of the 633-acre East Marlton forest in Prince George's County, MD. The saved land was added to Charles Branch Stream Valley Park and will protect local wildlife for generations!

For the past 5 years, #LWCF funding provided by the Great American Outdoors Act has increased hunting & fishing access across the nation without using taxpayer dollars but now the Dept of the Interior is trying to block #LWCF projects with an damaging secretarial order.
