Roy Wood Jr is a good interviewer. One of the audience questions was from a young 19 year old aspiring journalist and he told the kid to reach out to him on social media so that he could read his work. That's very kind.

Maga has normalized anti-democratic behavior for everyone. People are inserting themselves aggressively into races that they aren't voting in and screaming at voters to pick their preferred candidates. They believe that they get to decide who voters elect. If you have no problem with Bernie publicly stumping for Platner, don't complain about Schumer privately preferring Mills. You can’t whine that only people you like are allowed to have preferred candidates. You can’t ask someone to not even run in a primary because you don't want them to win.

Sanders is geriatric and has been putting his finger on the scale for Platner. Everyone from outside the state yelling at Mills to drop out because they love Platner is very much putting their thumb on the scale.

Exactly. This is the problem with running completely unvetted people without a critical eye. The GOP WILL dig up dirt on him. We could lose because people can't just reserve their support until they know more about him. He's not even the only person running besides Mills.

I would like to maintain or protect my bodily autonomy going into 2026. The leaning of the state house is in the balance as well. The GOP gov candidate believes that abortions should be a capital crime. It's so much more consequential than NYC mayor, sorry to NYC.

Young people don't vote for Democrats because they don't vote period. The actual real numbers show that they provided the least amount of votes of the different generations. Older voters delivered more votes for Harris than young voters. Until young voters show tf up, spare me the age whining.

However bad you think these text exchanges are, it's worse. This is legitimately good reporting by Politico. There is no distancing Trump or the GOP from these young Republicans. They're losers and they're eating eachother because they don't know who leaked to the press.
