I've had British born employers who couldn't have passed an 'O'-level, let alone an 'A'. In either English or Maths. Thankfully no more.

I now work with some really smart immigrants!

No, that was because, for a while, the GPEW was rather struggling to deal with transphobia in its ranks. And the Scottish Greens, quite rightly, I think, made it clear that was not acceptable.

Given that all GC candidates were soundly rejected, and Zack was elected, I think its now clear

Perhaps the best way for you to answer that question would be to go to the GPEW website and read the policy docs there, and keep an eye on what we actually do.

I suspect that no answer from me will suffice! I'm just some random guy on the net, after all.

I can understand the scepticism, we've been let down so many times.

I do genuinely think this is for real though, and the party structures are very democratic so no leader can say one thing and do another.

🧵Quarterly post that is actually about energy policy: There was an NAO report out today about big failures of a scheme introduced by the previous government to reduce households' CO2 emissions. The scheme, ECO, obligated energy companies to pay installers to fit heat pumps, solar, insulation etc.
