This. Exactly.
Seeing a lot of discourse around trans meds again.

I don't want anything to do with them.

If anyone is trying to gatekeep transness, you aren't welcome in any community I am a part of.

There is no magical threshold of "trans enough".

Hey y'all! I'm participating in this livestream fundraiser tomorrow to help Jennifer Harris Dault and her family relocate to Europe to protect their trans kid. Tune in from 3:30-4 PT/6:30-7 ET for my conversation with @celestefinally.bsky.social! And check out all the other great guests!
Alright y'all - this starts in less than 24 hours! When we say "protect trans kids", this is a super practical way to do it - helping a trans kid escape the US will change her life. Plus look at all the amazing people joining! Come hang out and consider helping if you can! Reshares are helpful, too!

Ugh.

I've appreciated Jammidodger on Youtube (Jamie Raines) doing breakdowns of the actors being cast in the books or tv show, and it seems like most are genuinely clueless, but (as Jamie says)... they need to not be. It's so frustrating.
This sound exhausting... I'm so sorry you're having to go through it and face long waits for answers 🫂💜
1. Wow we could not ask for better allies!
2. AND some perimenopausal women can get estrogen prescriptions from which they could, you know, um... have extra. And they could do something to help the trans femmes with that extra!
just saw it drop and can't wait to listen later today probably!

I mean it's just a difference of opinion, right? Can't we get along with the people who want us to not exist? Why do we have to be so stubborn in demanding rights? We should really have some compassion for those who hurt us - we're really hard for them to understand.

🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
Oh right, yes to all of those!

Just finished Season 3 last night and omg the ending is so good. I missed so many things the first time.
OMG I love it. Now I'm going to have to do *another* rewatch of Season 3. (oh darn lol - will probably do it before Season 4)

Wait - does this create all the triangles, too? Like Keeley/Roy/Jamie, Colin/Trent/Issac... are there more?
woaaaaaahhhhhhhh 🤯

Things like Zava and Jack really bothered me the first time, but it was because I was worried the show was wasting time with them. On a rewatch, they're a lot shorter and are just plot devices for other characters to grow.

And the Amsterdam episode is a *gem*.

I've got one episode left in a rewatch of Ted Lasso (Seasons 1-3) and on this rewatch, I am *loving* season 3, which I originally had mixed feelings about. The negatives aren't around as long as I thought, and there's a *lot* of highlights (Sam, Colin/Trent/Issac, Nate, Keeley/Roy/Jamie, etc).

RIGHT?!?! And AOC has been out there doing her "Fight Oligarchy" thing, and Walz has been good, too, and and and... we have options, and again I say... we have more than two years, we do not need to coronate a winner right now. Let's make would-be candidates work for it!
(oh and I also voted in W v. Gore, but honestly don't feel confident characterizing Gore the candidate - I was 18 at the time and didn't know much)
In my voting life, the dems ran Kerry, HRC, Biden, Harris; all were perceived to be centrist liberals whose whole campaign was "I'm not the republican." Other than Biden 2020 which was a wild year, they all lost.

Obama was at least seen as "progressive" and won easily.

Why can't we learn this?
