California, this November 4th, the whole country is counting on you.

Prop 50 puts our elections back on a level playing field, preserves independent redistricting over the long term, and lets the people decide.

So return your ballot today. Vote yes on 50.

Clearly, NASA and SpaceX have "enjoyed" a mostly symbiotic, synergistic relationship. SpaceX needed NA$A's infra$tructure. NASA saw a non-Russian solution to filling the LEO capability gap post-STS.

I'm a Redstone-to-SLS Boomer, so I'll freely confess that SpaceX's test philosophy makes me nervous.

Probably not "over"...

1. Agreed. Definitely have a "better story".

2. If you can back up your "I have loved and protected America" cred with your old fighter jacket, then absolutely flex that too.

The Flight-11 success is duly noted, along with that of Flight-10.

That said, I would still regard the overall flight record as highly probationary as far as rating the vehicle for human spaceflight.

Trump is going to attack red-blooded flag-waving Americans as long as those red-blooded flag-waving Americans disagree with him, regardless of what those red-blooded flag-waving Americans call themselves.

If you don't already understand that, then you're the one that's "dense"...

Sure, I'll bite...

The term "antifa" is increasingly being owned/embraced by decidedly non-radical (center-left) people who choose to take its nominal "anti-fascist" meaning at face value, often leveraging a WW2 historical perspective...

By way of example:

Ps: If you haven't figured it out by now, Trump creates his own enemies out of whole cloth. He lies as we breathe. He requires no help. Calling oneself "antifa", "anti-fascist", or even "pro-democracy" matters not to Trump or his people.

Dissent is all that is required to make one Trump's enemy.

Trump, the far-right, and especially Stephen Miller do not care what "pro-democracy", "pro-Constitution" Americans call themselves.

If you identify yourself as "anti-fascist" or even "pro-democracy", Trump's regime has still already targeted you, because their aspirations are those of fascists.

OBAMA: “Better’s good… we’re not gonna get to perfect. Do I think single-payer with no profit motive would’ve been smarter? Absolutely.”

Nothing wrong with spelling it out. I'm not making the case that there is. I'm also proposing that there is nothing wrong with anyone who is anti-fascist embracing the shorthand. I use both interchangeably.

That's what free expression should be about.

Yes, you did say that...

I disagree, because in this case, I think you are wrong.

The Trump administration has already telegraphed that they intend to paint ALL dissent as "antifa".

Given that intent, there is no reason to not embrace a literally anti-fascist identity, or at least adjacency.

Like it or not, there actually are an increasing (yes, admittedly not huge) number of these...

"...people who choose to take its nominal "anti-fascist" meaning at face value, often leveraging a WW2 historical perspective..."

Especially children, grandchildren, nephews and nieces of WW2 veterans...

When most people hear the term "Black Panthers" they think of something "radical" and "dangerous" from the 1960s. They have no idea where the inspiration for using that name came from, so they almost certainly don't think of this...
