Not quite. Voters had three candidates in the General in that election, and were able to rank the three in their preferred order.

While Adam Schiff did not donate directly to Steve Garvey, his campaign spent millions of dollars on ads that promoted Garvey during the 2024 California Senate primary.

For instance, most CA voters are registered Democrats...what if there was an election method that allowed all the Dem Senate candidates to run against each other in a General (when most of them vote) instead of Garvey against Schiff.

These electoral systems exist. (See Mary Peltola vs. Palin)

I want my ballot to have a telling and meaningful Venn diagram between Porter and Becerra so Californians can have a fair shot at casting an informed vote.

With 22 full time employees devoted to graffiti abatement in Bruce Harrell's 2026 budget, that team would officially be twice as large as SDOT's Vision Zero team (11 people).

“One Seattle Graffiti Plan” - Citywide initiative for graffiti removal, including targeted enforcement
and assistance for impacted businesses, support for public art and volunteer clean-up efforts.
• The 2026 Proposed Budget adds $2.1 million and 6 FTE, bringing the total Citywide expenditures
for graffiti abetment to $6.1 million and 22 FTE.
• Proposed budget also includes transfer of existing staff and funding from SPU to SPR. Details will
be further discussed in the upcoming Seattle Parks and Recreation presentation.

Knowing next to nothing of the various campaigns, early on I see a lot of value in either Katie or X as the next governor of California. Of course campaigns and supporters would hate it, but I think the state would greatly benefit from an election between these two.
