Despite being unable to pass a state budget, the Republican NCGA is now prioritizing the passage of partisan Congressional maps.

Democrats won across the statewide ballot in November, and these changes would further misrepresent our evenly divided state.

Republican lawmakers in North Carolina announced plans on Monday to redraw the state’s already gerrymandered congressional maps to further favor their party. The most likely target is the First Congressional District, which has the state’s only competitive House seat.

Just disgusting and so tragic that lynching is still happening. This is toxic masculinity for those of you who don’t know what that term means. Men who have to “prove” they are men by hurting someone else. Cruel and inhumane is what they are.

This is horrifying.

To give context to ICE's spending spree on weapons & tactical gear, I pulled data on their FY 2023 spending for relevant product categories.

‼️ In the last week, ICE spent well OVER TWICE AS MUCH on weapons, armor, & accessories ($74.6M) as they did in all of FY 2023 ($29.2M).
