Star Trek, DC Comics, Tolkien and Pratchett universes (all sci-fi+fantasy) are my thing… I was there painting D&D die-cast miniatures when it was born. πŸ––πŸš€πŸ§™β€β™‚οΈπŸ¦ΈπŸ»β€β™‚οΈ Sadly, politics now too... and I mean SADLY!

They had to assess if any comment would have an effect on their fantasy sensation that there are English nazi right wing voters that may change Reform for Labour.

That’s what it’s always been about.

Stupid, I know. But it is, and there’s plenty of proof.
They made their bed, a bed they HAD to sleep in.

Considering the fiasco the Tories had executed in the UK for so long, they were always going to be defeated and YET Labour (Starmer) thought that the best way to go about it was to make sure all those populist ideals were taken care of. Hence this!
It's just more examples of Labour being petrified of the right (in all of its guises), not just here, but abroad too.

As I always say... This UK Labour Government is reactive, NOT proactive.

This is what's hampering them all the way back to campaigning for the GE'2024

Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox reunite to discuss Back To The Future Β at 40 – and why it still resonates today.

β€œWe live in a bully culture right now,” says Fox. β€œ[The film] is all about how you stand up to them.”

In the meantime the EU went even more global than global, with one of the most sought after deals that took its time, but for good reasons.

Problem is that opinion polls say two things right now which are quite confusing.

β€’ Majority say Brexit has turned out rubbish and also rejoining enjoys quite a considerable majority

On the other hand…

β€’ The far-right UK nazi party, Reform, are also leading the prediction polls.

What is it? πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ
I think there’s a confusion as to how good Man Utd were at Anfield. No doubt it’s commendable that which they achieved. That’s fundamentally what football is all about… RESULTS!

But I personally feel that the reality where football is concerned, is something completely different. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Just my opinion
THIS is what those that feel we could rejoin the EU any time soon need to come to terms with.

The EU would never risk it… risk a potential turd that drove them up the wall being UK PM.

We NEED to sort ourselves out first before imposing ourselves on everyone else. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

It’s the truth.
It’s a testament to the power of disinformation and toxic politics that Britain is recognising the national train wreck that is Brexit…yet, at the same time, Farage β€” the man who drove that train β€” is flying high in the polls.

One benchmark of a democracy is whether it is willing to hold those who have served at the very highest levels to account.

Can you imagine the United States ever doing something like this?

"We do not want to help make Brexit work" German official

Exactly! The Brits want access to the Single Market without being members and without contributing to it. So there we go Keir Starmer put your 'make Brexit work' where the sun doesn't shine.
Maybe Shearer didn’t rate Gullit πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ
She was busy β€œbrushing her hand against the wheat in the English countryside” whilst at the same time accusing EU citizens of being β€œQueue dodgers”.

The fact in this country we remain with our nose stuck up and aren’t embarrassed by the global scene we’ve made is extraordinary.

Unforgivable!
You’re not wrong for having said that. Although this M&S CEO wasn’t in that position back then. But he is indeed suspect for sure. I’m always wary of anyone that complains about Brexit but then complains about the hardships of Brexit in a fashion that’s aimed at the EU.
One of the greatest strikers ever. I always look to see how the general consensus is with global football opinions and not just here in the UK. Shearer is a hugely respected footballer worldwide as was Gary Lineker.

He was literally lethal!
If Brexit is so great, what do your children need a German passport for?

Particularly considering he was so anti-EU FoM...

Surely his principles would've mattered here because he's such a prominent figure in the nazi-sphere?

Or is it all because of something else?
I thought you guys had gone on holiday! πŸ‘€

I'll be on this one tonight! πŸ‘

Indeed... His two offspring do have a German passport and the grapevine says he has too.

What is it you're alluding to in general?
It's this which shows the amount of work Farage and all the cohorts managed under the radar for so many years. Imagine now where they're prime time!

Hence why I consistently say we cannot rejoin right now. We're not ready and would hinder the EU in every conceivable manner.
Many, if not almost all the Tory MPs at the time when politics wasn't where it is today were against Brexit. Not that I care because I absolutely despise that party... But I do remember practically all of them (aside from the ones that were infected by Tufton Street) were anti-Brexit.
