My brother made me watch that the other day!! Iconic!!! Im obsessed that that would be someone's intro to the IP. I played Control a few years ago and LOVED it but I didn't start AW until last year. What a guy.

The aftershow is a cute fun time, and watching their reactions after those endings the past eps have been so funny, theyre all so excited!!

But tbh without the ability to watch 4+ hours of content whenever I please, I wont stand a chance to keep up with this campaign 😅

I call it “joyful rigor” when I explain this effort to my students. I don’t believe in or rather, I’m not a “suffering poet.” I’m a writer who enjoys writing. The work works on me and I’m grateful for the opportunity to delve into the process at my own pace and to be changed by it.

That’s the other thing that baffles me about AI and creative writing, actually.

The work IS the joy for me. I don’t want to be able to snap my fingers and have a completed “product.” I want to be transformed by the process. I’m an author but I do this because I enjoy the rigor of being a writer.

A beacon subscription is worth it, bc then you get to hear Brennan differentiate between "rows and rows of fangs" and "rows and rows of teeth" and then say the phrase "bicuspids for days". nightmare fuel

I cannot recommend you enough to install the Wikipedia app on your devices and use it like you would any search engine. Nowadays they even have tabs so you can open many articles at once.

And, if you can, please donate to the foundation. It has survived the internet enshittification that way.
