Also curious if they actually lost the designs of the Alpha Juno, considering they released VSTs and Boutiques of just about any other 80s/90s hardware they made, but never this one.

I think most folks buy it for the analogue parts. Not that most folks could pass a double-blind test vs ACB or digital. ;)

The price is nuts. I mean, it looks good, but IMO not worth 4 times a TR-8S (which would be way more than sufficient for my needs).

Gold and other types of farmers will love that though. MSFT basically automating for them.

But apparently MSFT hasn't been reading the news on how the average gamer population responds to AI features, even single generated images. This is one customer base that does not tend to be screwed over.

APPARENTLY it costs the NHS over £300,000 a year to remove foreign objects from people's rectums. Why aren't we removing British objects instead? Was Brexit all for nothing?

And I think the whole 'agentic' and 'agent swarm' model will actually make this pattern very common? A.k.a. this is not a power user in the agentic world, but a common one?

They have no clue just how MUCH gamers hate AI. The gamer audience literally goes rabid over devs using a single AI-upscaled/generated image, review bombing games, massively buying and refunding, forcing devs to backtrack on anything AI. And not just once.

I've been keeping an eye on devs' use of "AI" during pairing sessions. Maybe it's the bubble I'm in, but I've just not been seeing much of it "in the field".

Mostly the occasional inline completion (+ editing), the occasional "How do I..." in a chat window.

What are other folks seeing?

One benefit of using the Zen-Core presets (around 4000 of them) from Roland is that most of the default banks are really well balanced. Sounds great out of the box even without applying any mixing or mastering magic sauce.

After wrapping up the extended mix of Clockwork, I did some jamming with the MC-707.

Surprised I still managed a lot of the shortcuts without checking the manual. Just muscle-memory, because if you asked me from the top of my head what they were I would have not known, but somehow my hands did. :D
