Strengthening our trade ties with India, the US and the EU means more growth, jobs and investment in Milton Keynes and North Bucks.

Proud to stand with my old boss as Labour leads Britain back onto the world stage. This is what rebuilding our global partnerships looks like.

Honoured to be interviewed by the thoughtful young minds at The Royal Latin School 📰

Thanks to Georgia, Etungsha & the teachers for the great questions - on life beyond uni and getting involved in democracy.

(And no, I don’t usually read about myself... promise!)

Political Opinion: Callum’s Column: Backing Bletchley’s future
This week, I’m writing from Queensway in the heart of Bletchley to talk about something I know matters deeply to so many of you: the future of our high street.

When Mel Stride was Work & Pensions Secretary, welfare spending rose from £298bn to £328bn in real terms.

And under the Tories' watch between 2016 and 2024, the number of civil servants grew by a third from 380k to over 500,000.

There is simply no credibility here.
Mel Stride over the weekend: fiscal discipline is key to how we rebuild the party.
Mel Stride today: would anyone like five grand?
A really strong speech from the Chancellor yesterday afternoon — clearly setting out the difference a Labour Government makes.

This Government is commitment to spreading opportunity everywhere. Only possible by a Treasury focused on economic & financial discipline. 🌹#Lab25
Chancellor Rachel Reeves pledges a library in every primary school by next election 👏
To lead a Labour Government – and a Treasury – you can’t just dismiss the bond markets.

Every pound spent on schools, hospitals & infrastructure depends on credibility with those who lend to the UK. Real change requires fiscal discipline, not wishful thinking.

27 is far too young to die. Jess's death is incredibly unfair, and I have so much respect for Andrea for sharing her story.

Jess's rule aims to improve safety and give patients a greater voice, so we can avoid as many tragedies like hers as possible.

This is the difference a Labour government in power makes.

✅ Day one rights at work
✅ End to fire & rehire
✅ Ban on exploitative zero hours contracts

We’re delivering the biggest boost to workers’ rights in a generation.

It was lovely to meet Dave Phoenix, the new Vice Chancellor of the Open University with fellow MPs @chriscurtis94.bsky.social and @callumandersonmp.bsky.social.
Danny Kruger quitting to join Reform UK isn’t just a blow for the Conservatives, but a brutal judgement on Kemi Badenoch’s leadership.

UK politics is now about Labour vs Farage: or as I like to call it, Tories 2.0.

Russian drones in Polish airspace are a stark reminder: our security is shared.

This week I asked how the UK's defence spending will deliver value and strength. We must invest wisely, support allies, and stand firm against aggression.
This #BloodCancerAwarenessMonth, I’m proud to support DKMS in the fight to save lives.

By joining the donor register, we can all play a part. I was personally especially keen to sign up, as donors of African, Caribbean and other black heritage are always in high demand.

In this month’s Bucks Herald column, I reflect on a busy first year as an MP - and what I’m focusing on this summer.

I've also highlighted successes from over the past year. From funding wins to thousands of cases helped, it’s been a momentous 2024-5.
