my typical show schedule looks like
- 30 min to drive home from work
- 30 min to smoke and eat
- 30 min to shower & hair
- 1 hr to pack and think about quitting
- 30 min panic attack
- 1 hr to paint
- 30 min to get to the show 10 minutes after call

I think 90 min is the perfect paint time, enough wiggle room that I can fix stuff if I fuck up but urgent enough to get me in the game. After the 2 hr mark I cannot imagine what we would even be doing here unless you are mad multitasking

“I have 3 hours” and “I need 3 hours” are SO different tho, if I have a full day to paint I will be watching an episode of tv between every step of the process but if the show’s in 30 min im gettin ready in 30 min!

a club/bar is a public space, clearing ICE to enter.
HOWEVER: once a ticket, cover or wristband is required for entry, it deems the area PRIVATE, preventing ICE raids indoors. this information is directly from ICIRR. in order to get in to your PRIVATE party, they must have a warrant. ⬇️

Again, I ask, what are we going to do when ICE shows up. Sharing infographics (if even that) only does so much, because it’s not beyond me that most of the shows on the strip have almost all-white audiences, and I don’t trust white gays to do the right thing (clearly). So what are we doing?

I think tumblr-era “introversion as an immutable personality type” brain did a really immeasurable amount of damage to leftist causes like. I also have clinical anxiety but that is not a good reason for not being polite to people and knowing your neighbors
