I mean, I'd accept that from a friend but not a stranger. People have no idea about boundaries on social media.

So, that meal of chicken livers, huge steak and a glass of wine came to... £26. And that's in a nice hotel. It's quite cheap here.
bwianair.bsky.social
Yup. What's wrong with people? Barging into strangers conversations being all twatty.
bwianair.bsky.social
Well, aren't *you* a twat.
bwianair.bsky.social
No! Portions are... generous. Gym when I get back. Promise.

And 250 grams of beef with a garlic butter sauce.

STATLER; "This funeral is so boring, I'm jealous of the guy in the coffin! Ah ha ha ha ha!"
[Statler turns to the empty chair next to him and sheds one tear]

This is country number 5 (well, 6 if you count landing in Zimbabwe and just waiting in the plane before taking off again) and yes, day 10.

Very glad that only lasted a couple of days.

Last leg of the trip! Meetings tomorrow then fly to Jo'burg Thursday to get the BA flight home. I'm very tired.

Flight was delayed, been travelling all day. It's almost 10 here in Lusaka but treating myself to a decent meal at the hotel. Starting with absolutely delicious chicken livers in a thyme and lemon sauce.

I was sat the wrong side of the plane, so that's a zoom across the aisle and out the window. 😁

Brief layover in Harare before flying on to Lusaka. Here's Kilimanjaro. Yes, I blessed the rains, etc.

I will never vote for the party opposing the Republicans.

Ok, this is *definitely* about social media
"But there's no one who speaks like that!"
"Happily. But those were times when, to forget an evil world, grammarians took pleasure in abstruse questions. I was told that in that period, for fifteen days and fifteen nights, the rhetoricians Gabundus and Terentius argued on the vocative of 'ego,' and in the end they attacked each other, with weapons."

Interesting parking.

Is there anything worse than a smug, white middle class male "ex-pat" with opinions about "foreigners"?

(Yes, yes, there are many things worse than this, I know, don't @ me)
bwianair.bsky.social
Doesn't reduce your casual, smug racism or sexism though. Enjoy the block.
bwianair.bsky.social
Well, that's now a must watch.

Bring back the stocks, I say.
