Tbh never knew if Id consider reddit one. Its way different than the others design wise. All that said, i at least get that some people have found value from these sites but seriously i think sites with forum type designs made making friends infinitely easier, for me at least.

I don't like the term social media cause its confusingly broad depending on who's asking. Social media as in Facebook, x, bluesky? Does any website where you're social make it social media cause i don't count ytp forums as anywhere close to the same as facebook.

As an outside observer to most social media. When I hear x these days. I just think of it as an alt right website. Like I have more sympathy with the people who can't stop eating chic fillet because they like the chicken too much. What dopamine is worth being on the cybertruck of websites
