Paranoia Agent's Maromi (Satoshi Kon, 2004–5): A large pink anthropomorphic dog, with enormous doll-like eyes, a tiny triangular nose, and no mouth, sits in the middle of a circle of sleeping people in a verdant field.

Great examples of terrific and influential RPGs that happen to be licensed games. A significant drawback, however, is that licenses expire. These are all out of print (I barely managed to buy a PDF of Leverage in time). Thankfully Cubicle 7's Doctor Who RPG is still around!
Ghostbusters: A Frightfully Cheerful Roleplaying Game (West End Games, 1986) Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game (West End Games, 1987) Leverage: The Roleplaying Game (Margaret Weis Productions, 2010) James Bond 007: Role-Playing In Her Majesty's Secret Service (Victory Games, 1983)

FOX: To trick, fool or outwit (someone) by cunning

That’s a bit dated, but OUTFOX is more common.

HORSE: To flog. (18th century)

When animals played larger roles in our lives, they’d be incorporated into everyday language. These days we still have “horse around/about”, of course.

I'm sorry to say that it's still broken for me when I try to search by "from:[ACCOUNT]". (I haven't tried the other advanced search features, but I don't have high hopes.)

e.g.
example of broken Bluesky search function by "from:[ACCOUNT]", returning an unrelated account instead of the one being searched for

This one for today, especially.
3 panels from Watchmen depicting a dialogue between The Comedian and Nite Owl during a lull in protest suppression:

The Comedian (examining the graffiti "WHO WATCHES THE WATCHMEN"): Ha! You see this? I seen that written up all over durin' this last two weeks! They don't like us an' they don't trust us.
Nite Owl: This whole situation… It's horrible…
The Comedia: Well, me, I kinda like it when things get weird, y'know? I like it when all the cards are on the table.
Nite Owl: But the country's disintegrating. What's happened to America? What's happened to the American Dream?
The Comedian: It came true. You're lookin' at it. Now c'mon… let's really put these jokers through some changes.

Why put nasty hairy little men in a setting when you can have ducks? It doesn't make any sense.

The official database of works eligible for the Anthropic AI settlement has been released and, as I suspected, many authors are screwed. Basically, if your books weren't officially registered with the US Copyright Office you're out of luck. 1/ secure.anthropiccopyrightsettlement.com/lookup/results
Welcome to the Anthropic Copyright Settlement Website
Are you the legal or beneficial copyright owner of a book included in the Anthropic Copyright Settlement?
You could get a payment from the $1.5 billion Settlement.

Absolutely brilliant (and to think Romita was worried about working on the title). The tragedy of Gwen Stacy is that she’s a romance comics character trapped in a superhero comic, and she’s not aware of how deep she’s in.

This is the way. And quote-dunk only with anonymized screenshots to starve them of attention.

(There's always muting if Bluesky's public block function feels awkward.)

If we (and I include me) would stop engaging Twitter-sent Trump trolls, that would make me happy. Just block.
