It amazes me because, yes “gold” is often gilded. Scratch the surface and reveal nothing of value…. People who were in industry leadership roles a decade+ ago. People with ~9 credit hours & some certificates claiming to be experts. It’s mind boggling.

A lot of organizational (and societal) issues stems from one simple reality. A lack of empathy. A simple test - have a sr. leader to attend an onboarding program. Then ask them if they would want this for their onboarding experience.

Had to get my car inspected at Pepboys. Fox News was on in the waiting area. I honestly don’t care if it was Fox or CNN or MSNBC. In an era where TV news, desperate for ratings is all about making the news over reporting it, perpetuating lies and creating rage, how about just going with a game show?
