It's why I value the 'idea' of an online convention or workshop, but when these are extremely expensive and offer very little practical growth for the average newbie, you'll just be bleeding out your wallet for things you can Google or read a $10 book about lol.

It's a hard truth.
In person, that feels more natural and more personal. You can walk up to people, visit booths and stalls, you can physically as questions in a crowded room and approach someone before or after a seminar. Even if someone ignores you, at least you have a chance to be seen, heard and more.
Oh I agree, but the problem remains that a lot of online workshops or anything are simply put - a mess.

A lot of people will advertise online conventions as a way to connect, but how many of us really do? Maybe five percent or ten? Talking over one another is also a thing, it's just a bit rough.
In person I can steer myself; I can walk up to an agent and shoot the shit, I can talk to other VA's and connect on a human, physical level.

Online? It's a giant fucking mess of voices with no one to really be there. It's like a Twitch stream with 10,000 people.

Na fam.
With that in mind, the VA's who sign up won't be given 1 on 1 contact with agents or agencies as far as I read, it'll be a virtual thing.

A stream.

That costs $315+.

I'm sorry, but ONLINE you're telling me it costs more? With less benefits? Negative ghost rider, that's not worth it.
I was just given an opportunity to join an online voice acting opportunity to join basically a live stream with a bunch of talent and what not across the world.

It's virtual, hundreds or more voice actors, a few names (nothing major) and some voice agencies etc.

Virtually, no one on ones promised.
Now I've been to two conventions in my life; Twitch Con 2017 and London Comic Con in 2019, both were pricey and both were in person events.

In person events are worth money; usually around $250.00 at the most, but it comes with a ton of IN PERSON STUFF TO DO.

I have a gripe though, keep reading.
Man this year has been good, but it sure has kicked my ass.

36 feels like 90 with my body being a bitch and not wanting to understand logic or rationality.

Reading comprehension is important. I don't understand how someone could misinterpret this unless they spend their life being intentionally moronic. (Learning disorders are, of course, an exception.)
a photo of a word bank and fill in the blanks work sheet. The parent thinks they need to use the word 'bank' in all of the blanks.
What fucks me off the most about this is simply put, I did this kind of exercise in school all the time.

I was in school in the late/mid 90's.

I also play a lot of "Madlibs" - which do similar things, depending on your level of creativity.

The fuck is wrong with people now a day?
Jesus fuck me I was going to buy myself a Gumble Bee Plushie, but the problem is our fucking tariff bullshit.

Damn near $50 for it because of that fat orange prick and his couch fucking company he keeps.

Man, just one more reason on the endless list why I can't wait for this to be done.

Hey there @bennyfits.tv!

We met back in Twitch Con 2017 - a weird place during a weird time and I was basically a brand new streamer back then.

Still a smaller guy on Twitch, but I wanted to see if you still streamed and you do!

So I figured, I'd come say hi, connect, wish you well, etc.

Salvation Army seen feeding ICE today. For anyone who doesn't already know about their bigotry, here is more, No need to give them your money this Christmas, or ever.
It’s dinner time for the police. Appears to be pizza from a Salvation Army van.

Broadview’s “free speech” curfew starts soon, at 6pm.
