I made a new one a while back. The Bok. They're a gelatinous unispecies comprised mainly of active neuro-dendrites and need basically an exo suit to get around. Or they'll ooze and use tendrils to move along. Like the tendril creature in Enterprise that pins Capt Archer in the cargo bay.

I remember a trick I use to do during installs was instead of restarting, shutdown to Dos, navigate to the Startup exe in the Windows folder and reload. That way any DOS drivers installed are still resident and won't need to be reloaded.
