(the agents probably handed the money to someone else, and THAT person gave it to him, so yeah technically, he did not take money from the agents)
Theory: advertisers hate that kind of content, do editors and publishers do too

Another theory: editor sraff at major news outlets have been secretly fascists for years and they see an opportunity to finally be fascist publicly

🤷‍♂️
Fantastic film. Great script! Time to watch it again.
Hey New Mexico, why aren’t you in this?
Right out of the Tesla notebook, where, in an effort to avoid accountability, the company goes to great lengths to filter what questions can be asked to the executives during the quarterly conference calls and at annual shareholder meetings, resulting in zero-info, pep-rally cheerleading-fests. 🤷‍♂️
I'm suddenly reminded of a scene late in Netflix's ADOLESCENCE mini-series, that involved a bucket of blue paint, and what was done with it.
There was a lot I hated about school when I was in school but there is NOTHING I valued and appreciated more, and in hindsight, am now grateful for, than the handful of enthusiastic, curious, deeply wise, and thoughtful teachers who encouraged and supported students and their learning.

Say NO to AI
Completely agree. Tesla is now utterly untrustworthy.
Seen in Santa Fe, New Mexico today. (Now I’m wondering what the sticker said underneath.)
I look forward to Mr. Balko and other journalists soon achieving an awareness where they finally see that these guys are outright *fascists*, that all they do is lie and commit whatever fraud they need to commit to get more power.

Aghast postings of every utterance of theirs: it doesn’t help.
What the billionaires don’t seem to grasp is that in these dire times, the world insists on being there to witness the *their* “conclusion.”
He wants 'em moved to red states. This is just mobster vengeance, but money is money, and bidness is bidness.
Not all people.

But too many are way too gullible. Too many are easily fooled by AI slop. As are media. Never fails to astound me.

Just say NO to AI companies.
Very cool. Love that movie! Saw it when it came out at the 70mm cinerama Uptown Theatre in DC… vividly remember it. In some ways I liked it more than ALIEN since this was a scifi western, not space horror. The headline of TIME mag’s review back then—never forgot it, sooo perfect: “High Moon”
I’m willing to attend the local event.
I’m wanting to attend the local event.
I’m waiting to attend the local event.

But there’s no way in hell I’m going to attend the local event. No way. Too high a chance that easily-triggered crazies will trash my car. Will not risk it. So I’m there in spirit. 👊
This is some really shitty trickery, Sky Cinemas #SantaFe. If I’d known this was an effing #NETFLIX movie I wouldn’t have paid you $ to see it! But your movie poster MAKES NO MENTION of Netflix or anything else one expects to see in a movie poster.

Compare with an alternative poster.

#newmexico
Sad to see PBS run a story in this propaganda framing. There is no honor here. This is just more lies and fraud, and once again, we see journalists and news orgs played like a fiddle, incapable of telling it like it is in an age of fascism. Thanks for enabling this further, PBS.
“Meal Team Six” 😂
The coming collapse of the AI bubble will be sudden and widespread.
There was a semi-famous techie I once heard give a lecture, and one of his tips for success was everyone should include an “Enemies” section in their resume. He shared his own resume as an example. It was… creepy.
Sometimes a review serves as a public service announcement, a Nutrition Facts label for movies, a Surgeon General's warning label, detailing what's really inside. This is one of those reviews. A grateful nation salutes you.
Interesting how many animal shelters and humane society locations seem to have pit bulls and such. Is there an over-abundance of them? Are they the most frequently abandoned/given away breed? Perhaps due to their reputation?
