Just as the Prince of Peace would have wanted it.
Why can’t you chickenshit cowards very simply describe the truth that presidents don’t just get to do whatever the hell they want with our money?
Edit: 2.4% in October 2024.
But it wasn’t. It hit 3.0% in June 2023 and only got as high as 3.7% afterward. It was 2.4% in October 2023. Inflation had been below the long-run average for *16 months* when the election happened.

I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.

First they came for the innocent man deported to a Salvadoran gulag on an “administrative error” they falsely claim they’re powerless to reverse, flouting court orders even from the Supreme Court — and I spoke out, because I know how the damn poem ends.

If you wrote a story about a regime so comically evil that it literally snatches people from their citizenship interviews, you'd be accused of over-the-top imaginings.
Grabbed at his appointment to become a citizen. Is this who we are? 😕🇺🇸

Life comes at you ... at exactly the rate it promised to come at you during its 4-year re-election campaign where it told you exactly what it planned to do literally thousands of times.
“Speaks for the administration?” It would not be at all surprising if we eventually learn that Miller is bringing EOs to Trump, a man famously uninterested in reading, and saying “This is good, just sign it.”
I’m partial to Annecy. It’s not *small* but nearby towns are. Nestled on an alpine lake surrounded by mountains. A few hours from Paris by train and the whole lake is on a bus route. Terribly picturesque area.

Naval Academy forced, by SECDEF personally, to remove nearly 1000 books seen as promoting diversity from its library, including MLKs autobiography or books about Jackie Robinson.

College students - and faculty - not allowed to read about MLK?

A very old Soviet joke, from an especially dark time:

Foxes are fleeing the USSR in droves.
Q: Why are you running away?
Fox: The Soviets passed a new law that they’re going to arrest all camels.
Q: But you’re foxes!
Fox: Yeah, why don’t *you* try proving to the NKVD that you’re not a camel.
If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

Donald Trump (2016):

“In my administration, I’m going to enforce all laws concerning the protection of classified information.”
DOGE is a bunch of bros who don’t know anything about anything and are behaving like toddlers in an airplane cockpit yanking out wires to see what happens.
Cumberland County where OOB is went 66% Harris…
She and I were “born” less than a week apart and half of our lifetimes ago I reported aboard. Lots of memories from that fine ship!
Part of me hopes that they just show him the very general and innocuous but serious-looking unclas slides and maps we used to put on the big screens when public affairs was inside taking photos. Or just show the obvious stuff. Someone new to it might not be able to tell the difference.

If the constitution is still in operation, Trump's executive order abolishing the Department of Education is just a suggestion.

If Trump can abolish the Department of Education with an executive order, then the constitution is just a suggestion.
But that’s Trump. If it’s not cash, it has no value or benefit. Why would a country do anything alone or in concert with others if it doesn’t get paid somehow?
Failure to understand complexities and overconfidence are Trump in a nutshell. Unfortunately his overconfidence is attractive to voters who also don’t understand complexities.

This goes so far beyond politics. I'm just morally disgusted to be living in a country that is behaving like this.
His own White House medical unit stocked it.
